I’m Donna Peters, a registered nutritional therapist and I help midlife women to take back control of their health using personalised nutrition. 

 

I regularly share my expertise in publications including Marie Claire, Women’s Health, Women's Fitness and Happiful. In my corporate work, I work with organisations including the NHS, to support their employees' well-being. 

 

My approach is practical, evidence-based and always personal. Before retraining in nutrition, I worked in the corporate world myself — so I understand the pressures of juggling work, family life and everyone else’s needs while putting your own health last.

From Food Fear to Food Freedom

Client: Female, mid-30s
Focus: Gut health, long-term gluten & dairy intolerance, reintroduction protocol

After years of living on a strict gluten- and dairy-free diet following gut damage from antibiotics, this client felt increasingly restricted in her everyday life. Social events became stressful, eating out caused anxiety, and accidental exposure often led to strong physical reactions.

She came to Donna feeling frustrated, isolated, and unsure whether change was possible.

 

Through the structured 12-weeks, Donna focused on restoring her digestive health by implementing a strict gut healing programme, based on the 5R's protocol. 

 

With close guidance and a phased reintroduction plan tailored to her lifestyle, she was able to progress safely and confidently.

 

Outcome: She successfully reintroduced gluten and dairy without any reaction and no longer needs to avoid foods she once considered “off limits.”
